Company

Halberd Compliance was founded in 2021 by an assurance lead and two platform engineers who had spent several years on opposite sides of the same argument about evidence. The company is based in Dublin with a distributed engineering team across Ireland, Portugal and Poland.

How we work

We build slowly and remove features that do not earn their place. The platform has a deliberately small surface: collection, mapping, service. Requests to become a general workflow tool are declined, because the value of an evidence store is that it is trusted, and trust is easier to keep in a system that does fewer things.

Funding and ownership

Halberd is majority owned by its founders and employees, with a minority holding taken by a European early-stage fund in 2023. We are not seeking further investment at present.

Working here

We hire experienced engineers and assurance practitioners, mostly at senior level, and we do not run a graduate programme. Roles are advertised on this site when they open; we do not work with recruitment agencies.
