Evidence-led compliance operations
Halberd Compliance is an evidence management platform for regulated teams. We collect control evidence continuously from the systems you already run, keep it mapped to the frameworks you are assessed against, and make the current state of every control answerable on demand rather than reconstructed the week before an audit.
Why teams move to continuous evidence
Most compliance programmes are still run as an annual reconstruction exercise. Screenshots are gathered by hand, spreadsheets drift out of date, and the team spends six weeks assembling a picture of a system that has already changed. The cost is not only the effort. It is that nobody can answer, on an ordinary Tuesday, whether a given control is actually holding.
Halberd inverts that. Evidence is collected on a schedule, attached to the control it supports, and versioned. When an assessor asks how access reviews were performed in the third quarter, the answer is a query rather than a project.
What the platform covers
- Continuous evidence collection from cloud accounts, identity providers, ticketing systems and code hosts
- Control mapping maintained across ISO 27001, SOC 2, and sector schemes, so one piece of evidence satisfies every framework it belongs to
- Exception tracking with owners, expiry dates and an audit trail of who accepted what and when
- Reviewer workspaces that let an external assessor read evidence without being granted access to the underlying systems
Who we work with
Our customers are typically between two hundred and four thousand employees, operating in financial services, health technology and public sector supply chains. They share a common shape: a small assurance function accountable for a control environment much larger than itself, and an engineering organisation that will not tolerate a process built on manual screenshots.
Getting started
Implementation begins with a scoping session covering the frameworks in play, the systems that hold evidence, and the review calendar. Most teams have their first framework mapped and collecting within three weeks. We do not require a migration of historical evidence; prior audit artefacts can be attached as static records and superseded as live collection takes over.
